His combination of pace, skill, finishing, and intelligence made him virtually unplayable at his peak. The 2003-04 Invincibles season saw him score 30 Premier League goals as Arsenal went the entire campaign unbeaten.

The goal against Newcastle in 2002 is regularly voted the greatest Premier League goal ever scored. His partnership with Thierry Henry became the stuff of legend.

Ian Wright

EnglandIan Wright arrived at Arsenal as a relatively unknown 28-year-old from Crystal Palace in 1991 and left as one of the club's greatest ever players. In seven seasons, he scored 185 goals, making him the club's all-time leading scorer for many years until Thierry Henry surpassed him. His explosive pace, powerful shooting, and infectious personality made him a hero at Highbury. He was a key member of the 1998 Double-winning team.

Mesut Özil
Attacking Midfielder
GermanyMesut Özil joined Arsenal as the club's record signing from Real Madrid in 2013, forming a devastating partnership with Santi Cazorla and later Alexis Sánchez. The German World Cup winner was arguably the most technically gifted midfielder to play in the Premier League during his era. His vision and passing range were unmatched, and he holds the record for most assists in a single Premier League season with 19 in 2015-16.

Patrick Vieira
Central Midfielder
FrancePatrick Vieira was the engine room of Arsenal's greatest teams. The towering French midfielder combined physical dominance with elegant ball skills, making him the complete midfielder. He scored the winning penalty in the 2005 FA Cup Final — his last kick as an Arsenal player — to secure the trophy.

Arsène Wenger

FranceArsène Wenger is the greatest and longest-serving manager in Arsenal history. The Frenchman revolutionized English football when he arrived in 1996, introducing new training methods, dietary regimes, and a brand of attacking football that had never been seen in England before. Under his 22-year tenure, Arsenal won 10 major trophies, including three Premier League titles and a record seven FA Cups. The 2003-04 Invincibles season — going the entire 38-game Premier League campaign unbeaten — remains one of the greatest achievements in football history.

Herbert Chapman

EnglandHerbert Chapman was Arsenal's most influential manager and one of the greatest tactical innovators in football history. Taking charge in 1925, he transformed Arsenal from a Second Division club into the dominant force in English football. Under his leadership, Arsenal won two First Division titles and the FA Cup.

Tony Adams

EnglandTony Adams is "Mr. Arsenal" — a one-club man who served the Gunners for 19 years as captain and leader. Making his debut at just 17, he went on to make 669 appearances, the most by any outfield player in Arsenal history. He captained the side through two different eras and scored the final goal at Highbury in his testimonial year. His transformation from a "partying defender" to a disciplined leader under Wenger's guidance is one of football's great redemption stories.
